Erin Sherlock is a B.Mus graduate in Interactive Composition from the University of Melbourne, where she studied composition, performance, and sound design. She currently works as a sound engineer at Brian Brown Studios.
In addition to her work at the studio, Erin also pursues freelance endeavors as a composer, arranger, producer, sound engineer, and trumpet player. She collaborates with a diverse range of artists, including Maeve Grieve, Middle Palms, L Lewis, Jonah Gabriel, Mia Barham, Abi Lee, and Alice Hurwood, among others.
With a passion for jazz and contemporary music, Erin regularly performs her original compositions at some of Melbourne’s most renowned jazz venues. One of her favorite projects is her residency with the Jazzlab Orchestra, a diverse group featuring some of Naarm/Melbourne’s best composers and performers.
Erin’s work has also led her to participate in several notable music festivals, including the Clarence Jazz Festival, Brunswick Music Festival, A More Perfect Union, and the International Women’s Jazz Festival, to name a few.
